A motor is a device that converts electrical energy into mechanical energy, which is consisted of many different parts that have great influences on the performance and usage of motor.

  1. Stator: The stator is a stationary component in an electric motor, usually made of a circuit board or metal. Through the winding, the current flows through the stator to generate a magnetic field, thereby rotating the rotor.
  2. Rotor: The rotor is a rotating component in an electric motor, made of conductors or magnetic materials, that rotates through electromagnetic induction or electric field action.
  3. Magnetic pole: The magnetic pole is the component in an electric motor that generates a magnetic field, usually located between the stator and rotor, used to generate electromagnetic force to rotate the rotor.

  4. Winding: A winding is a wire wound on the stator or rotor that generates a magnetic field through the current flowing through the winding, thereby rotating the rotor.

  5. Terminal box: Terminal box is the junction box of the motor, used to lead out the internal power and control signals of the motor, and connect them to external power and control systems.

These key components work together to form the internal structure of the motor, achieving the function of converting electrical energy into mechanical energy.
